The Thoracic Support can be used to create anterior translation of the thoracic spine when using the THORACIC Denneroll, reduce or prevent posterior translation of the thoracic spine when using the LUMBAR Denneroll, or be used in conjunction with a COMPRESSION EXTENSION STRAP to combat against the effects of strong forward head carriage.
Posterior
THE THORACIC DENNEROLL
Increased thoracic kyphosis can often occur in conjucntion posterior translation as shown above.
In this presentation, the translation support used in conjuction the THORACIC Denneroll is most suited. This helps to reduce thoracic hyperkyphosis and whilst tranlating the thoracic spine shown here.
Perhaps a caption underneath says “With and without Thoracic Support”. Maybe not necesssary?
The contoured surface of the translation block provides a guide for centered placement of the THORACIC Denneroll.
When strong forward head carriage (anterior cervical spine translation) is present with thoracic hyperkyphosis, a COMPRESSION EXTENSION STRAP can be attached to the translation to enable you to simultaneously reduce or reverse the effects of both the increased thoracic kyphosis and when present
THE LUMBAR DENNEROLL
Then posterior translation of the thoracic spine occurs with reduced lumbar lordisis, then the translaton block can be used with the LUMBAR Denneroll. The contoured surface allows for the scapula to drop away for comfort and maximum muscular relaxation.
